Disney on Ice Let's Celebrate!

This show was soooo much fun!!! We have fun every time we go to Disney on Ice, but this time was even better!!! They had all of the great characters that you know and love plus the new ones from The Princess and the Frog--Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen!!
The show was more interactive than the others we've been too. It made it so much more fun for the kids to be 'helping' Mickey!
I also must say that the skaters were phenomenal!!! They performed some really great skills in this show! Olympic caliber for sure!!
We had so much fun! I HIGHLY recommend going to see this show when it comes to your town! Don't forget the coupon deal to get a great deal on tickets!

COUPON: Purchase a 4-pack of tickets for only $44 (Valid Monday-Thursday and Friday Matinees, excluding holidays) and save $4 on all weekend shows by logging onto www.ticketmaster.com and the coupon code in the MC promotion box: MOM

$1 coupon for General Mills Cereals!!

Here's a GREAT coupon for General Mills Cereals from MyBlogSpark! Click HERE to get it!
This week General Mills announced a commitment to further reduce sugar in cereals advertised to kids under 12 to single digit grams of sugar per serving. The company has already been reducing sugar in cereals while increasing key nutrients, such as calcium and vitamin D, and providing whole grain.

Did you know that ready-to-eat cereal eaters consume less fat, less cholesterol and more fiber than non-cereal eaters? Cereals also deliver important vitamins, minerals and other essential nutrients, making cereal a top source of key nutrients in children´s diets.

Other cereal benefits:
  • Ready-to-eat cereals, including presweetened cereals, account for only 5% of sugar in children´s diets.

  • Ready-to-eat cereal is the No. 1 source of whole grains in a child´s diet today.

  • More frequent cereal eaters tend to have healthier body weights and lower Body Mass Index measures.
Studies also demonstrate the benefits of eating breakfast. A 1998 study showed that children who eat breakfast tend to perform better at school. Compared to children who skip breakfast, children who eat breakfast score higher on tests, are less likely to miss class or be tardy, have fewer reported discipline problems, and make fewer trips to the office.

For more information about kids and cereals, please visit Cereal Health and Wellness.

Holly and Hal Moose from Build-A-Bear

I got the chance to review Holly and Hal Moose from Build-A-Bear. They are soooo cute! We love Build-A-Bear! The girls all have their own bears from their birthday party last year. I also have my own elephant from there. Now Joseph is claiming Hal as his own. :-) The girls just love to play with them. They came all decked out in full clothing and when you squeeze Hals hand the lights on his antlers light up. So fun!!
Aren't they just the cutest little things?!! Plus they came with a copy of their book: Holly and Hal Moose: Our Uplifting Christmas Adventure. It is a fun story and my girls have loved reading it over and over! It even tells how Hal got the lights stuck in his antlers. hehe
You can pick up these cute little guys at your local Build-A-Bear or you can shop at Build-A-Bear online!
You can watch a preview of the Holly and Hal Moose: Our Uplifting Christmas Adventure DVD HERE. It's on DVD now and you can pick up your own copy here for a great stocking stuffer that your kids are sure to love.

So much fun at the circus!!

We went to the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus “Zing, Zang, Zoom,” last night. It was so much fun! We got to go down onto the floor of the arena and meet the clowns. (Well, Alanna didn't, she was scared of them but she loved them from a distance.) You can see short little shows and get autographs if you get there early enough. You even get to watch one of the elephants paint! So cool. I love elephants. :-) The acrobatics were amazing!! Those people are so brave! I seriously thought my heart was going to stop a few times while watching them! LOL They were just incredible! All of my girls really enjoyed it too. I think their favorite parts were with the horses and elephants. Brynne loved the zebras (they are her favorite animals). I just asked Alanna what her favorite part was and she said,"All of it!!" It really was a great show!

There are still a lot of days left to go see the circus! They are still at the AllState Arena. They will be there until November 15 . Then they will be at the United Center from November 17 to 29.

Don't forget about the great deal you can get!

Disney Live! was soooo much fun!!

If you have the chance to go see Disney Live! Rockin' Road Show I would highly recommend it!! It was a BLAST!!!!! The girls had so much fun! It is a great interactive show! The 'host' Chris was funny and gave the kids ample opportunities to scream, dance and laugh! Cori's favorite part was when Tigger came out and everyone was encouraged to get up and BOUNCE!! It was great to see the theater full of kids bouncing and laughing! What a sight! I'm so glad we had the opportunity to go.
If you are in the Chicagoland area there is still time to get tickets to the show! They are only here for the weekend but you can still get good seats (there really isn't a bad seat in the house).
Thank you Feld Entertainment!
